About This Course
Building on what you’ve learned in the ‘Introduction to ArcGIS Pro’ course, this course will show you how to use ArcPro and ArcGIS Online to create offline areas that can be downloaded to your mobile device. This is useful for remote data collection in areas where there’s no mobile coverage
- In ArcPro, we’ll go through a quick refresher on how to load and symbolise data before we learn how to ‘share’ (upload) a map that you’ve created to ArcGIS Online.
- Then in ArcGIS Online, we’ll go through the steps involved in validating your uploaded map and creating an offline area.
- Next, we’ll cover the steps involved with downloading Esri’s Collector (a free app) to your mobile device or tablet.
- Finally, we’ll cover the process for downloading the offline area to your mobile device.
Approximate time needed to complete this course: 8 hours
